Did you know you can still shop the market?

We started the Northwest Area Farmers Market in Oak Ridge four years ago to give people in Northwest Guilford a place to gather and connect with neighbors and friends. And to provide those connections with farmers that provided fresh farm vegetables, fresh local fruit, and specialty foods.  We grew into 3 different northwest locations over those years and in 2023 decided to consolidate into a larger, central location where we can offer future growth, events, and educational opportunities for our community.  

Giving farmers a place to distribute their fresh local fruit and fresh farm vegetables was important to us.  We are interested in saving our local farms and in order to do that we need to support our farmers. Local farms are important to all of us because it provides large green sections of land, local wildlife, local crops where we benefit from local foods, and adds to the economy and future generations of farmers.
